25 random things about me

I put this on my facebook, but I spent so much time thinking up interesting things about me that I decided to put it on my blog as well.

1. Of my 4 kids, 3 have serious health issues. Crysania has Spina Bifida, Elijah has peanut allergies and asthma, and Sarah has Downs Syndrome

2. I am a home school Mom

3. I really really want to go to England and Scotland

4. I am an emergency preparedness nut, I love reading articles about and buying anything and everything I can to be prepared

5. I love to go camping, but hardly ever go.

6. My favorite thing to do after the kids go to bed is to be with my husband. We spend every night together from 8:00 on, talking, watching movies, reading books, or looking up stuff on the Internet.

7. My husband and I have the moving bug, why oh why can’t we be content staying in one house? We have lived in 6 houses in our 10 years of marriage

8. My new years resolutions are to read the scriptures everyday and to loose 25 lbs (so we can go to California this summer)

9. I keep contemplating writing a book, but I am not a very good writer and have no idea what kind of book I would want to write. So it will probably never happen.

10. I wont let my kids have sleepovers. They think I am mean, but I remember all the insane and scary things I did at sleepovers and there is no way I am letting my kids get in that situation

11. I love to read novels, but I pretty much only read LDS authors or teen books because they are usually clean.

12. I want to have at least 6 kids, but I am going to wait until Sarah can walk before I have another one.

13. I have my year supply of food

14. My house has 5 bathrooms and I seriously hate cleaning them

15. I do not like making dinner. It could have something to do with the fact that my kids won’t eat anything I make unless it is Pizza.

16. I grind my own wheat and use it in (almost) every recipe I make that calls for flour.

17. I love being married and having kids and being home with my kids all day, I can’t imagine doing anything else with my life.

18. Moroni and I plan on going on an LDS mission when we are older and all the kids move out of the house.

19. I am the compassionate service leader in my ward

20. I love watching Science fiction shows, Star Trek, Star Gate, and Far Scape, just to name a few

21. I graduated from High School with High Honors

22. My best friend and I stole a street sign when we were teenagers

23. I have driven all the way across the country from California to New York, but not all in the same trip

24. I finished my Associates Degree 8 years after I started college

25. I am sick of trying to think of interesting things about myself
