We got to go on a kid free vacation this weekend to St. George. We had a really great time. We stayed at the Days Inn Hotel on Thursday and friday night. While we were there we watched 3 movies at the theater since we don't get to go very often with kids, we watched Taken, Push and Inkheart. All of which were very entertaining movies.
We were planning on going to the Temple on Saturday but found out that it was closed for cleaning. Just our luck!

Friday we went to Pioneer Park and hiked for a few hours clear out in the sagebrush north west of the city.

This is Moroni jumping the Sage brush

Saturday we went to lunch with Moroni's sisters Mary and Liz and had a good time catching up with them, and then on the way back we stopped in Cedar City and had dinner with Moroni's Dad Howard and his friend.
Now I really want to take the kids out to St. George, maybe next month before it gets to hot. I know they would love Pioneer park and they also have dinosaur tracks, plus they would love to see their Cousins.

That looks like so much fun. Especially the hiking part. I miss southern Utah hikes.

We are most likely going to Bless Conor and Brennan in April. That would be a good time for you guys to come out.
